Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki Art Hotel

Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki  is offering a panorama of art by Greek and foreign contemporary artists  to its visitors, under the auspices and curation of  Myro Antiques House group.

A series of sculpture and painting exhibitions, of the most emerging and well-known names hosted in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki, is turning the elegant architectural space of  Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki in an open contemporary art gallery, providing guests with the opportunity to taste and acquire great artists of today.

The exhibitions last about a month or so, and are including internationally renowned sculptors, members of the Greek Marble Initiative, combined with fine painting by contemporary Greek artists as a contribution of the contemporary art space of the Myro Antiques House group. The kick off exhibition includes works by internationally renowned Greek portraitist Michail Tsakounti which are co-exhibited with a series of bronze sculptures by the famous Bulgarian sculptor Kamen Tanev, whose works are awarded in several international biennales & symposiums, and his monuments found in multiple locations in public space worldwide.

A Springtime show follows, which sports the colorfull and vigorous portraits of Nikos Vavatsis, an expressionist Greek painter known for his characteristic abstractions. At the same time, Giannis Bizas sculptures will be o display. The artworks showed will be covering a course of 15 years of this distinguished internationally Greek sculptor; his works can be found in private collections and public Institutes around the world, while his name is not missing by international editions of lists & catalogues in recent years, stating him as one of the most strongly emerging sculptors of contemporary art.

These exhibitions will continue throughout the year,and will include many renowned sculptors from around the world -a contribution of the Greek Marble Initiative. Names like Giorgie Cpajak (Serbia), Edward Fleming & η Sherry Tipton (USA), Andrej Mitevski (FYROM),  Ciprian Hopirtean (Romania), and many more will show characteristic works at the lavish space of Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki, along with great paintings.
